Zac Tankard

Zac Tankard, the Principal Solicitor at Tankard’s Law, specialised early in his career because he was passionate about protecting people’s rights. He knew that when someone is faced with hefty fines and/or imprisonment it can affect a person's life and their family's lives for years. He felt there was much at stake and that is worth fighting for.

Tankard's Law is headed by Zac Tankard, an extremely experienced and hardworking criminal law solicitor who has been practising criminal law in Local and District Courts throughout the Riverina since 1998.   

He has a passion for criminal law and understands the finer points of the law. Zac knows how to listen and communicate in a straightforward manner with you personally, and how to communicate to your advantage when representing you.

Stephen Groch

Stephen Groch is an experienced family and criminal law solicitor who joined Tankard’s Law in 2021. He has been practising law since 2000 both as an employed solicitor and as the principal of his own firm.

Stephen knows that family and criminal law matters are sensitive and often distressing for clients - he goes out of his way to make sure clients have all the essential facts in order to make informed decisions and work towards the best outcome.

Stephen advocates in Local, District and Family Law Courts throughout NSW on a daily basis and has run many hearings, sentence matters, and challenged domestic or personal violence orders with success. Similarly, he has successfully argued for contact with children in complex property disputes.

As a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, who is also admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia, you are in capable hands.
